Chief Executive Officer
I joined AMSN and MSNCB in 2017 as their CEO. I love working with mission-based non-profit organizations and am thrilled to be back working full-time with nurses, given my 30+ years of acute care nursing experience. I have a keen interest in the future of nursing and health care given today’s volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environment and am always trying to determine what this evolving future means for our members.
My husband Steve and I are from Canada, and moved to the US in 2013. We are Toronto Maple Leaf fans, and will likely never see a championship parade in our lifetime since the last one was in 1967. We have two adult children still in Canada and one teenager here with us in the US (who is living her best life at boarding school pursuing her dream of playing college hockey), two dogs, two cats, and an antisocial bearded dragon
Director, Association Services
I graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and have worked with AMSN since 1999 in various roles. My current responsibilities include staff liaison to the board of directors and the nominating committee. I also serve as the Team Lead for the national office staff. I enjoy scrapbooking, cardmaking, traveling, and hiking in the national parks. My husband and I have two adult children, three granddaughters, and a pet cat.
Manager, Professional Development
I hold a BA from Michigan State University and had 30 years of varied business experience prior to joining AMSN in 2005 where I have served in many roles. My favorites always involve working with our volunteer members. My husband and I spend free time dancing, camping, motorcycle riding, flower gardening, and are active in our church. We also enjoy spending time with our children and four nearby young grandchildren.
Manager, Strategic Messaging
In my spare time, I keep busy with three teenage children involved in sports and extracurricular activities. I can also be found mountain biking on regional trails, kayaking on a nearby body of water, or hiking. I love all kinds of music - and rarely go anywhere without a playlist. Civically, I am Chairperson for Sustainable Haddonfield, which promotes eco-friendly and “green” initiatives in my hometown. I am also co-founder of a civic group in my town to promote diversity and inclusion.
Coordinator, Strategic Messaging
I enjoy spending time with my family, some of who are in Northern and Southern California, and my five grandchildren. My husband and I have a mobile / part-time BBQ catering business, are dog parents to Koda, an Australian Cattle Dog, and enjoy traveling, mostly local to the Delaware Valley region.

I joined AMSN in the spring of 2019, and am a fan of books, cats, and mountains. I collect both mugs and random facts.
Coordinator, Member Relations
I joined the AMSN team in fall of 2019 as the Membership Coordinator. I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelors in Communication. I was born in Philadelphia but growing up I lived in Connecticut, Minnesota, and Canada. I enjoy working out, being on the beach, and watching football with my husband. I enjoy being a Membership coordinator because I have the opportunity to to be apart of furthering professional development in the lives of our members.
Manager, Professional Practice
I have over 20 years of non-profit experience, and my current professional interests include analytics and research. In my free time I enjoy watercolor painting, journaling, reading, walking, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.
Coordinator, Volunteer Relations
My name is Gabby Sheridan and I have recently joined AMSN and MSNCB in November of 2019 as the Volunteer Relations Coordinator. I am a New Jersey native but resided in Virginia for the last 7 years going to school and then working as a mental health counselor in the school system. I enjoy traveling as much as I can and have gotten to experience many different countries, and cultures. I also love anything related to the Philadelphia Eagles, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family. One of my biggest passions is helping others and I have really enjoyed doing that the past few months with the volunteer units of AMSN and MSNCB, and I look forward to continuing to do that.
Director, Certification Services
I have three years of association experience and over ten years experience as an administrative professional. I began my association experience with AMSN, where I provided quality customer service to members, coordinated with volunteer committees to carry out successful social engagement activities at the annual convention, and worked with the faculty members of the professional development courses. In my current role with MSNCB, I work directly with the Board of Directors and assists the CEO in driving organizational growth set forth by the board’s strategic plan. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. I recently received the Credentialing Specialist Certificate from the Institute of Credentialing Excellence (ICE) and aspire to sit for the Certified Association Executive (CAE) examination within the next few years.

I am married with three girls and three cats. When I am not busy running around with the kids or working, I am completing homework! I am currently pursuing an MBA, specializing in international business at Northeastern University. I am a certified teacher with a Master of Education and ESL certification from Cairn University. In my spare time (whatever that is), I enjoy spending time with my husband, traveling, baking, gardening, painting, and working on home renovation projects. I love being an AMSN team member because it is an opportunity to serve and support a community who care for people at their most vulnerable time. I love making a difference, by helping others make a difference.

I am the Certification Services Coordinator for the FailSafe Program. I enjoy Kickboxing and Muay Thai along with exploring new wineries whenever I can. My friends and family mean everything to me, and I try to spend as much of my free time with them whenever I can.

I joined MSNCB as Coordinator, Certification Services, for AMSN in 2019. I have 29 years healthcare experience working as an administrative professional in pharmaceuticals, hospitals, and in national health care association management services for specialty nursing organizations. I'm an almost "Empty Nester" enjoying quality time whenever possible with my grown family and my three grandsons. When I have free time, I love to relax with my Chihuahua, Rocky, or going on long walks with Minnie, our Labrador Retriever.

I joined AMSN in October of 2019, and I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Over the past ten years I’ve been an ecologist and biology teacher; these days, I help medical-surgical nurses navigate the certification process. In my downtime, I go hiking, read fantasy novels, and explore downtown Philadelphia.
